This month I've been hard at work getting a very exciting new collection online: the exotic, natural 'La Maitresse' range by Konplott. Below are some photographs from the shoot, along with artists' depictions of wild nature that fit with the theme of this jewellery.
This vibrant creeping vine ring is fitted with an adjustable band to fit any size finger. The whole range seems to be modelled on plants that are beautiful but deadly, like the venus flytrap...... only with rows of Swarovski crystals in place of spiked borders.
Designer Miranda Konstaninidou created on-trend ear cuff design for the range. The earring can be gently manipulated to fit any ear and stays in place thanks to two gentle clips. Looks edgy, feels incredibly comfy!
The jewellery is very sturdy, fitted with high-quality Swarovski crystals and glass stones, and is crafted by hand in a Philippines studio that employs only women. Head designer Miranda personally trains each of her employees, passing on her expert knowledge and equipping them with the skills to make a good living from jewellery-making.
In keeping with Vogue's instruction to inject the longstanding floral trend with 'attitude and verve', Konplott designer Miranda Konstantidou has introduced a line of bold, eye-catching flower-power pieces to her range. The aptly-named 'Psychodahlia' collection sets a scattering of pretty swarovski crystals against a backdrop of vivid, enamelled petal pieces in exotic colour combinations, proving that flower jewellery doesn't have to be simple in design or wishy-washy in colour.
Loyal visitors to my shop and site have come to love Konplott jewellery for its distinctive design, excellent quality and level of detail. The intuitive Miranda only employs women to help her make the pieces - she believes only women can truly understand women's jewellery - and she trains each of her employees personally, passing on several decades' worth of crafting expertise to every jeweller. As always, this particular selection of jewellery was custom-made for my shop and is available for a limited time only, since the ever-innovative Miranda completely refreshes her range with new collections twice a year.
Now that the sun's (finally!) shining, I think it's the perfect time to accessorise with a flowering burst of colour! The range can be found under the New Arrivals section of the website, and you can browse Miranda's entire collection here.
I have had a huge delivery of new earrings in from all of my favourite jewellery designers including Konplott, Sweet Romance, and Philippe Ferrandis.
Bold statement pieces from Konplott include stunning Art Deco 'Oriental' Emerald Green Crystal Beaded Earrings or 'African Glam' Purple Crystal Beaded Earrings. For something simpler, yet no less dramatic, Philippe Ferrandis’ 'Indiana' Blue, Lime Green and Turquoise Drop Earrings are beautiful.
Delicate vintage-style pieces from Sweet Romance include the prettiest Rose Gold Turquoise Crystal Bow Earrings and Coral and Turquoise Vintage Style Cluster Earrings, perfect for dressing up the simplest outfit.
