Based in Luxembourg, Konplott was founded in 1986 by Miranda Konstantinidou. Konplott jewellery is handmade by Miranda in very small quantities, making it very unique and exclusive and therefore each piece is limited edition.

But unless your budget starts at £995 and stretches to £43,260 – these are Cartier, Bulgari, Tiffany and Boodles after all – most of the above may be out of your league. The exhibition – opening on 30 June – will include pieces such as the Coronation necklace worn by Queen Victoria, Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary, The Queen Mother, and Queen Elizabeth II.

There will also be exquisite jewels from the Queen’s personal collection, including pieces that she has acquired throughout her reign, such as a miniature crown worn by Queen Victoria for her official Diamond Jubilee portrait in 1897, and a beautiful fringe brooch that previously belonged to Queen Victoria. A true celebration of beauty.

Whether it’s a vintage look or something more contemporary, jewellery is the one thing that will complete the picture. A simple pair of pearl stud earrings are all well and good, but this season is all about fabulously decadent statement jewellery. Why not go for something a little more glamorous on your wedding day, such as a lavish necklace worn with a simple neckline or strapless wedding dress, or a pair of pearl and crystal drop earrings?

Sue Askew works from her studio in London where she creates the most fabulous, intricate and ‘over the top’ jewellery. She cleverly incorporates original 1940s, 1950s and 1960s jewellery components with original glass and crystal stones, and sets them into either 24ct gold plate or sterling silver plate. Each piece of Askew London jewellery is either a one-off or extremely limited in quantity making it completely unique, covetable and collectable.
